The monster within

You strike, again, and again
                and it's tearing my heart away
I BEG,
            I PLEADE,
                               but there's no
                            escaping this monster
                                 inside of me.
IT BELLOWS. . . IT ROARS
                         it slashes around inside
                                    of me.
I CANT CONTROL IT,
                               IT'S GOING CRAZY
Get away from me,
  before I hurt you more.


I myself don't want to hurt you, but the
               MONSTER BEGS
 TO DEFER.
