Mr. H's class... you would wish you were in it.

In my history class, my favorite teacher, Mr. H, has been going over what 'debating,' is... its not an argument, but a conversation to solve what the conflict is... we were 'debating,' about our enrichment we have... an extra 20-25 minutes, where we get to pick something we want to do, on Tuesday and Thursday's, mostly a break of the day. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we have literacy, which is reading, same amount of time as enrichment... our principle, Mr. O, came into our class to see what we thought about this enrichment problem. So we 'debated,' and some of the students in my fourth hour history class said some things like..
" it would be easier if we just took enrichment away, and had a recess instead, right after lunch."
" we could have an enrichment class where we go outside."
and then there was one person who said, " I think we're being selfish, kids come to school to learn, not to have fun."
In a way the kid was a little right. If you think about it, we were kind of being selfish... we have an extra 20-25 minutes where we don't have to worry about homework, unless your failing then your put in remediation. Even though we have a extra time in school, to have a break, we want more. Which to us seems simple, we take out enrichment, and use that time for recess after lunch, but you have to think, (we're in 8th grade ) what about the 7th, and 6th graders? we would be taking there enrichment time too, so then we decided it could be just an 8th grade thing... which in a way makes since too, but then we have to have supervision, which means we take some time from the teachers lunch, just to have a little time outside.

So the question that I ask in my head is.... " Why do the kids think that taking time from the teachers is okay? Because they want free-time, which could also just cause problems, like fights, and other things?"

another thing I learned in my history class is,
                                                        FREEDOM OF SPEECH!
I can say that I think we shouldn't even have a president, and I wont be executed or thrown in jail. as long as it doesn't make a crime... for example...
Mr.. H couldn't get all the students to rise up against, the principle Mr. O. Yes he has freedom to tell us that he doesn't like Mr. O ( which isn't true, the teacher is the best, and he likes pretty much everybody ) but he cant have a speech that influences violence.

This is just a few things I learned so far in my 4th hour history class with the best teacher in the world, Mr. H. ^.^

I found these on pinterest.

quote, by unkown author ( i forgot to write it down, and dont know what the name is...)

Never apologize for saying what you feel, because that's like saying "Sorry for being real."

I went to my friends house a couple days ago, and she had this written down, and I really liked it, so I decided to share it with all the people who look on my blog.

saying something you feel, is very special, because, its who you are, and if people don't know that, than you are.. forgotten. If people know you, and you share with them, things that really mean to you, than people will know you better. Say, and Do things that people will remember ( preferably good things )   Leave a legacy. Become someone who is remembered.

Kansas city, mission trip.

I got back from my mission trip not to long ago, and I have to admit, it was better than I was expecting. We helped make the kids in the, old a run down, neighborhood have some fun, and we also had an adult block party, kids could come to, where we gave them groceries, and food. I felt so happy when I saw all the kids smiling, and laughing, and playing. I feel like we really made a difference.

On the last day, I was on the bouncy house duty, and the gate was locked so my whole group was waiting outside the gate. I decided to climb over the gate, I used to climb tree's when I was little, and sometimes our fence, so I didn't think it would be hard. I also forgot about how long my shorts were, since it was a rule for World Mpact, to have shorts that go to your knee's, ( I was wearing boy shorts. ) Well, I got to the top of the fence, and I jumped, what I didn't know though, was my shorts had not gotten all over the fence yet, ( the fence was just little black poles, not a really high fence either, and it wasn't really sharp or anything. ) So my shorts got caught on the fence pole, and I'm not all that tall, so I was dangling by my shorts, and thankfully I had white little shorts on under my long boy shorts, because it pulled my shorts all the way up, and almost everybody in my mission group saw it. My friends will probably never let me forget that, but I don't need reminded, I will never forget about that. ( Now I'm kind of afraid of fences. )

These are the things I highlighted in a book I just finished, called "Last Light," by Terri Blackstock

"Ever day of your life you'll have to make decisions about what kind of man you want to be. Its not going to start when your older. Its starts right now. And every time you make a decision to be less than what God wants for you, your denying yourself some of God's blessings. Its up to you. You can live a life with god's blessings, or just exist with all the consequences of choosing wrong."
                                                                   -page 152 in, "last light."

"One wrong choice can change your whole life, Jeff. Just one. And one right one can turn you away from a world of trouble."
                                              -page 152 in, "last light."

"And the job of a mother is more important than any job a woman can have. It requires strength, character, discipline, patience, organization, intuition, and a strong work ethic. When you cant see those things, when your eyes are dimmed by your own ambitions, dreams, then sometimes God has to teach you how wrong you are. I don't want Him to have to do that. I'd rather you just loved people and saw them as worthwhile."
                                                              -page 165 in, "last light."

"Maybe it's time we find out what it's like to need, so we can see how big God is."
                                                   -page 173 in, "last light."

"Therefore do not worry about  tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
-page 186, in "last light," also in bible, found in Matthew.

"Those aren't the right questions, Kay. the question is, do you trust Him? Whatever the case, whatever He has planned for you or you husband or children... Do you trust Him to do the right thing?"
                                           -page 321 in, "last light."

"Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. And the world is passing away, and also its lusts;  but the one who does the will of God abides forever." 1 john 2:15-17.

                                                                - page 353 in, "last light."

"It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give drink without cost from the spring of water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son." Revelation 21:1-7
                                                                                                 - in the afterword in, "last light."

Memories with your beloved

The rain drops started coming slowly, almost silently. It was nice weather, a soft thunder, and the sound of light rain, made the hot air turn a little cool. It was truly peacful. We could hear the faint chirping of birds, and a few dogs barking, as the rain got harder. The dog looked longingly at the grass, but stayed on the covered patio, for fear of being locked outside, because it was wet. It was quiet now, except for the barking, rain, and thunder. It was perfect for a little singing. We held hands as we sang our favorite songs, and whistled some tunes. We gradually became aware that it was pouring now, but we didnt care. We started dancing while we hummed our favorite,"love song." It was so peacful. Times like this makes you want to hold tight to your loved one, and make more memories, because once their gone, the memories is all you have left, until you join them again in heaven. making memories with your beloved is a special part of life. It's what makes love so strong.

My roller coaster experience

I love roller coasters. I usually go to silver dollar city for rides, and my favorite one is the new one "Outlaw." The thing about this ride is, well, when I first went on it I had no idea what it was, at all. We got at silver dollar city, a little later than normal. it was around 6:00pm, and there was practically no lines! so we just jumped on rides, and had so much fun. The first ride I rode that day was, "Outlaw run," and there was no line, and I didn't have time to think about it, or back out. So my dad and I, went on the roller coaster, and got strapped in, and I decide to ask my dad what the roller coaster did, when I was already buckled and starting to move.
"Does it go up side down?" I asked
"Kind of, you'll see," was all I got.
So the roller coaster starts, and we start going up hill, and this is what I'm doing the whole time we're going up...
" I cant do this, dad. I'm serious, I cant do this. I want to get of RIGHT NOW!"
Then we reach the top, and I start screaming probably the loudest I have ever screamed in my entire life, then we go down.
WE shoot down the roller coaster, and I'm screaming like I'm about to die, and I'm saying, " I hate this ride so much," the whole time.
So let me give you this envision of me on a roller coaster, screaming. Not only am I screaming, and the people on the ride, think I'm the most annoying person ever, but everybody that just got off the ride, heard everything too, and the picture that they take on the ride... yeah not pretty. Oh, and it gets better, at the last part of the ride, there's this, well its kind of an up side down ride but a little different, its called a barrel spiral or something, and it goes upside down, but it turns, and like spirals to. Plus, after the ride, my dad told me it's the only wooden roller coaster that does that, and its one of the fastest wooden roller coaster. So let me tell you something, I love roller coaster, LOVE THEM, but when I don't know the ride, or its something I've never done before, I hate it in the beginning, but love it in the end.

Don't be afraid to try something new, just do it, don't wait, because if you wait, you might get scared, and not do it at all.

This story is dedicated to; lizzy, or Lizzy Dayz. For telling me to write about this on my post, "Post your ideas."

The paradise we all dream

There's no sun, but there's also no need for a sun. The ground shines brightly, but without hurting your eyes. There's no pain, no death, no sadness, just happiness. Everything is dazzling. There's no such thing as being poor, because everybody is rich in love. Everybody has their own mansion, and nobody is lonely. There's no need for sleep, we are not humans, we are spirits, living in heaven. There's no fear, there are no gloomy days, only happy days, full of sunshine, and kids playing on the streets, being carefree. There's no need to watch for cars, because there are none. You just simply wish you were there, poof, your there. There's no place like this place. Its magical .
Nothing is better than heaven, it the paradise we all dream.

post your ideas!

comment your ideas of what I should write about!
give me a scene, a characteristic, anything that would be good for writing!

EX; 1)

God, Jesus, Christ

This person has a strong love for me, not like man's though. He has a love, that looks at my heart, not my outward appearance, This person has such a strong love for me, that he died for me, not just any death though. He died a very painful death. He was crucified on the cross, but for a reason. He died so I could enter heaven, even if I had sinned before. This person, is above all people, He is the king of all kings, He is the creator of everything. He loved me before I was even born. God has an amazing grace, Jesus has forgiven me, Christ is my savior.

True Love

Love is complicated, but it keeps us going. It motivates us. Love can be amazing, and beautiful. Or it can be a curse, and ugly. It all depends on what way you use it, or who you choose. Love can hurt people, and it can build people,. Which one are you? Do you love the way you should love? Or is it a game to you? If its true love, than that person is the ones who makes you happy like no one else has. That person is beautiful to you, even if other people don't think so. You always try to agree with them. Always try to make a good conversation. You miss them when they leave. You wish you said more. Your heart beats fast, and it doesn't stop beating until the love stops. But true love never stops. True love goes on and on, forever.

Sibling Love

The people you grow up with. The first friends you have. The ones you know so well, that you know exactly what makes them angry, you know just the way to tick them off, and you do it frequently. You sometimes just make them mad to see there expressions, but sometimes there your best friend. The people you play with, the people you always pick on, but its just your way of saying, "I Love You."

The People You Love

penguin hug!
The people that are there for you. Not always forever, but the ones who say that. The ones who will always own a piece of your heart. The people who get you something, and say, "I was thinking of you today," just because they love you. The ones who you think you'll never get in a fight, but when you do, its big, but it never lasts. You can never stay mad forever with these people. These people are the ones that come 3rd in your heart. These are the people that come close to family, but not close to your love for God. These are the people you call just because you haven't heard their voice for awhile. These are the ones you'll cry about when they leave. This love, loving God, family, friends. These people you'll never forget about, because true friends always stay in your heart, forever.

See You Soon

The waves were crashing on the shore. The sharp rocks at the bottom of the cliff would make the water spike up sharply. The ocean seemed to roar with life. Down by the water, below the cliff, you could take off your shoes, and feel the sand between your toes. Kids are building sand castles, friends are playing volleyball, everything is perfect. The sky has few clouds, and the sun shines brightly, as if to say, "today is the day to play outside."
time ticks by, and the sun is going down, time to go home. It seems to early to leave. How can you leave such a peaceful place? A whole day at the beach, is you break from the week. Why not go again next week? So I say bye to the beach, but I also add, " See you soon."

Peaceful Nights

Milky Way over Australia picture, a winner in the 2nd International Earth and Sky Photo Contest on Dark Skies ImportanceThe tree's swayed, and you could hear the leaves run against each other. On the hill, you could see all the cars at the red light, glittering like lighting bugs. The sun was setting, and it was getting darker, and darker every minute. The light was dipping down farther, and farther into the darkness of the night. I thought to myself, what a beautiful night. Laying out in the open, under the dazzling stars, I could hear the wind whisper in my ear. If I slowed my breath, I could hear the chirping of crickets, and frogs jumping into the water. If I breathed in deeply, I could smell all the wild flowers, and the fresh smell of grass, and as it got darker, and later, it turned to early in the morning. I lay on the grass that was now sprinkled with cool dew. Leaving would be hard, but its easier to leave, knowing that I can go again soon.

Hi, I'm shopgirl

Hi I'm shopgirl, and I love to write. I do this really fun writing exercise, where I go on my iPod, and type, describe a......, and I type in whatever I feel would be a good scene, or sometimes its people, and other things. I decided to start putting them on a blog. so, I hope you like them.
